Tonight we are having stuffed Peppers made in the crockpot! YUMYUM! As I was creating them I decided to make a little extra rice for the kids to have for lunch. So as I sat concocting these little suckers I got to thinking what I could put with the rice to make a yummy lunch. Here is what I came up with:
Rice
Spaghetti Sauce
Cheese
Cut up Hotdogs
Mix it all together and you got a easy healthy lunch!
My kids are devouring it as I speak! This is definately going to be added to our weekly lunches!

Still no Camera :(
No Camera in my house is making me very unhappy. I hate missing out on saving the moments of my little ones throughout the day. We lost it about two months ago and we are not sure what happened. We had it when Bryson got his first haircut then never saw it after that. Anyways, Vent over! Hopefully the Lord will bless me again one day with a camera to capture my babies with!
It stinks that my Blog is lacking pictures as well. So, Bryson is learning Colors at the moment. He sorts the Counting bears into cups by color and names them! I am so proud of him. Emery can Sight Read now. She can read easy three letter words such as Cat, the, read, she, met, need, etc. She is also learning more than and less that in math. She loves school and it is the first thing she asks for when she wakes up!

"These Commandments that I give you today should be upon your hearts; Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your forehead. Write them on the door frames of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:6-9

Hi my Friend!
It has been a while since I posted. Summer was crazy here and I neglected lots of things just to spend quality time with my kids. I want to keep journaling our life so that one day I can look back and see how well we did raising our kids :) I have faith and I know that God takes care of my family and I, and makes sure we make all the best choices in life. As Hectic as my life seems right now I have to remember that there are others out there who are leading a much tougher road.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Alligator Adventure!
Emery is all into animals at the moment so we are going to do an ABC unit study on Animals. Each week she chooses a different animal that corresponds with the next letter of the Alphabet. We started with Alligator. She can tell you what they eat, where they live, the difference between a Crocodile and Alligator, and everything else! She also made a clothespin Alligator. We visited the Alligators the week before at the Greensboro Science Center so we didn't go back this week. We read the Alligators and Crocodile section of our Encyclopedia of Animals and Crocodaddy by Kim Norman.

Win a free baby Wrap!

Who Doesnt Love to cuddle with their children and hold them and confort them? I know that baby carriers are my favorite way to get this type of time in. The Modest mommy is giving away a free Baby Sling to someone special! all you have to do is comment and you could have a chance to win! The type of Carrier is a Wrap type but much easier than your one piece Wrap. It is Two fabric rings hooked together. I personally have owned a Baby Ktan and this is a lot like that! I loved my Baby Ktan! http://www.mybabynest.com/ is the type of carriers. http://www.themodestmomblog.com/ is where you can get your free Wrap!

Phonics Fun!
Phonics has started in our house! We no longer use the Little hands to heaven Curriculum. We made it about halfway through but it was way too easy for Emery. She is now on a kindergarten level. We are reviewing Curriculum for the time being, but decided to go our own approach for Phonics. We started with the LEapfrog Letter Factory DVD and then finished it up with Words factory by Leapfrog and Meat the Sight Words by Preschool Prep Company. We also use Preschool Prep Flashcards. I will also start using Learn to read in 100 easy Lessons. As we move along I will update followers on how it is going.

Myrtle Beach Day 2
we woke up and decided it was a great morning for some pancakes at Breakfast by the Sea. Since it was too cold for the Golf cart we had to drive down to it but that's OK! After breakfast we headed to Broadway at the beach for a little bit before heading back to the campground.

Myrtle Beach Day ONE
We are in myrtle Beach for 9 days! Every April we celebrate our Anniversary at The Myrtle Beach Travel Park for a week. It is off season so it isn't that crowded and still not unbearably HOT! Here is Day number one:
Riding the Golf Cart down to the Beach
Bryson and Emery love the Sand!

Emery also loved chasing the Sea Gulls
Bryson playing with his dump truck
And Bryson Also loved eating the sand!
Emery Thought it was fun for the waves to catch her Toes. Bryson thought it was fun to run when the waves got near him!
Tired little boy!
Running through the Tidal pool one last time for the day. We Decided to head to the indoor pool to wash the sand off. Bryson was a little Fish in the water! WE put Floaties on him and he jumped right in the water. Then he would get out and jump in again! Emery Already swims on her own with floaties and was all over the pool as well.
Emery also loved chasing the Sea Gulls
